How I Help

The Weight Nobody Sees

Everyday Life Costs You More Than It Costs Everyone Else

You're capable, thoughtful, and deeply caring. By most people's standards, your life even looks successful.

Underneath, the math never adds up. A two-minute conversation costs an hour of rehearsal.

Starting a simple task takes everything you have, while the genuinely hard things come easy. An ordinary Tuesday of fluorescent lights, a shirt tag you can't stop feeling, and other people's expectations leaves you wrung out.

And almost no one sees the effort, because you've spent a lifetime making sure they don't.

The Applause Trap

Everyone Applauds the Version of You That's Wearing You Out

You've heard it all: "too sensitive," "too intense," "too much." And when you finally stopped mentioning it: "just try harder."

So you got good at the performance: studying every room before you enter it, editing yourself mid-sentence, smiling through it, collecting praise for the exact things that cost you the most.

Except lately, the smile through it isn't working anymore.

Diminishing Returns

The More You Do, the Less It Counts

Underneath it all runs one relentless sentence: I'm not enough, so I have to do more. So you do more, and you're spent, and the line for "enough" has quietly moved again.

Your relationships follow the same math. You over-give until you disappear into other people's needs, or you pull back until you're alone with your own, wondering how everyone else just lives life without wanting to panic all the time.

Why Therapy Hasn't Worked Yet

The Therapy You've Tried Wasn't Built for a Mind Like Yours

If you've sat on a therapist's couch before, you know how it tends to go. Someone kind nods, reflects your feelings back to you, and assures you that your reactions make sense.

It feels good for 50 minutes. Then you drive home unchanged.

More than one client has told me some version of "Therapy never seems to work for me." Fair enough. Endless validation was never going to answer what you actually came in asking: who am I, and why has everything been this hard?

The Question That Actually Works

Swap "What's Wrong With Me?" for a Question That Works

You've been asking "What's wrong with me?" for years and then comes the endless unhelpful chatter... That's because it was the wrong question. Here's the one we'll practice asking instead:

"What makes sense for what my mind and body need, right now and in the longer seasons ahead?"

When that question takes over, your mind and body land on the same team. Whether you carry a diagnosis, suspect one, or are simply starting to ask how you're wired, you deserve a room where you don't have to perform, pretend, or strive.

Direct, Human, and Never Just Nodding Along

LMHC, LPCP AuDHD Therapist Neurodivergent-Affirming

I know what it's like to do everything you're supposed to do and still wonder why life takes more energy than it seems to take from anyone else. As an AuDHD therapist, a parent, artist, and writer, I didn't learn that from a textbook.

Pattern recognition is my favorite part of this work. Session by session, we connect the dots across your whole story, and I'll be straightforward with you while we do it, because your time and energy are too valuable, and I refuse to be a therapist who just smiles and nods at your story.

Most of my clients are late-diagnosed neurodivergent adults. Others arrive with no diagnosis at all, or with bodies that have held discomfort without answers for a decade or more, or with histories that taught them to stay braced.

You don't need certainty to start. Curiosity is enough, your consent leads the way, and you're the expert here.

Where This Leads

You Don't Have to Fit the Mold to Find Your Place

Whether you're exploring the possibility of neurodivergence, making sense of a recent diagnosis, or simply longing to understand yourself with more compassion, this work was built for you.

Therapy here is a place to be curious instead of critical, to trade self-doubt for self-understanding, and to build a life that honors who you are rather than who you've felt pressured to become.

There's a quiet relief in being deeply understood. Your worth was never meant to hinge on your productivity, your performance, or your perfection.

When the energy you've spent managing and masking finally comes back to you, you'll know what it feels like to be at home in yourself.
