Room to Understand Yourself

AuDHD TherapistNeurodivergent-Affirming

I’m Victoria Hudson, a neurodivergent therapist (AuDHD) working with people across Washington and Idaho who have spent a long time trying to make sense of themselves without the right language or support.

My work is grounded in a belief that you don’t need to be fixed. You need room to understand yourself more clearly, with less judgment and more curiosity. I bring both lived experience and clinical training into the room, which lets me meet you as one human being to another, with honesty and without clinical distance.

I tend to be straightforward. I won’t leave you guessing about what I mean, and I hold a strong sense of care for your pace and capacity. I’m not easily offended.

Heavy Stories Don’t Scare Me

The grit of an earlier career working with survivors of sexual exploitation taught me how to sit with heavy stories. For people who are used to having to over-explain themselves, that lifts a real burden.

Having grown up in conservative Christian environments, as a young adult, I did my own deconstruction. I know from the inside what it takes to question the frameworks in life that you were raised in and to rebuild yourself on your own terms. This is a part of why people doing that kind of work tend to find me.

Nothing Is Off the Table

My background spans art therapy, sex therapy, and somatic-focused trauma therapy, so I’m comfortable with flexible, expansive approaches to growth and self-exploration.

Everything is welcome here once enough trust and comfort are built. Nothing is against the rules or too much to engage.

When a need falls outside my experience, I lean on a strong referral network. That’s how I connect you with care beyond therapy, including medical, psychiatric, and wellness support.

I specialize in long-term therapy, especially for people living with late-identified neurodivergence, trauma, burnout, identity questions, and relational patterns that are hard to shift on your own. I don’t see therapy as a quick fix. It’s a relationship that develops over time, where deeper change becomes possible through consistency and trust.

The Support Around You

Part of my role is helping you orient inside systems that feel confusing or overwhelming, so you don’t have to work it all out alone.

Another part is helping you name what those systems have actually done to you, the real harm and oppression, and then move through it toward change you can feel.

As a clinical supervisor, I also mentor up-and-coming therapists, because more good clinicians means more access for the individuals and families looking for integrative, humane care. I’m a parent and an artist, and some of the drawings you’ll find on this site are my own.
