You’ve learned to read the room before you let yourself be in it.
Which parts of you are welcome here, and which ones you’ll fold up and carry home.
There’s a running list in your head.
Am I doing this right? Am I good enough?
What are the unspoken rules for this relationship, this room, this corner of the community you’re standing in?
Some of it lives in your body, in the places you’d rather not have a relationship with at all.
You hold the tension between who you are and who you’re safe to be in this world.
You’ve held it so long it feels like just how life works.
That holding is exhausting.
And it shouldn’t be the price of being known.
Many people arrive at therapy assuming something in them needs correcting.
It rarely does.
What wears you down is what it has taken to live in places that were never built to be safe or affirming for you.
That cost shows up as anxiety, perfectionism, self-monitoring, emotional shutdown, uncertainty in your relationships.
These read like flaws from the inside.
From the outside, they look exactly like what they are: reasonable responses to environments that asked you to shrink.
Your identity is not the problem.
It’s part of your context, not something to be corrected.
I don’t assume there’s one queer experience, one trans experience, one right way to exist in any experience.
You’re the expert on your own life.
I come alongside.
Together we make room for the pressure you’ve carried from outside the community and, sometimes, from the high expectations inside it.
My approach is curiosity-led, trauma-informed, and liberationist focused at its core.
Your pain is partly a response to real conditions, not a personal failing.
We’ll work with the story you’re carrying, the parts of you that have kept you safe, and what your body still holds.
Mind, body, and story get to be in the room at once.
We’ll de-shame the parts of your sexuality, your body, and your desire that you were taught to keep quiet.
This is affirming work for queer, trans, intersex, non-monogamous people and multi-marginalized people… anyone carrying a history lacking consent and requiring repression of their truth.
I work as a sex therapist within broad communities, offering education, resources, exploration and invitations to new freedoms… and the welcome here is not conditional.
When you’re no longer organizing your life around the fear of being judged, something loosens.
You get room to feel what was never safe to feel.
There’s space to redefine areas of identity on your own terms, away from the toxic frameworks that you inherited.
You won’t be asked to become someone different here.
The work eases the friction between who you are, how you’ve had to survive, and how you want to live now.
More coherence. Less hiding. More of you, out in the open…increasingly safer.
If you’ve been looking for a space where you don’t have to filter yourself, justify your identity, or hold back parts of who you are, I’d love to hear from you.
You are welcome in this space.
